An immersive 20 hr Yin Yoga experience for teachers and practitioners.
In this level two immersion with Dawn Batenchuk, you will review Yin Yoga principles and philosophy, build your repertoire of shape families and variations including more upper body Yin. You will dive deeper into the fascial network and build your understanding of connective tissue. Explore and study the meridian and organ systems of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the five elements and seasonal wisdom and apply these energetics to a class. With this foundational knowledge, you will explore techniques to encourage the flow of qi and restore balance with applied practice. The course will also review the components of a safe Yin Yoga class, inclusive language and supportive tools that contribute to the Yin Yoga experience.
Prerequisite: Foundations of Yin Yoga Level 1 or equivalent 20 hours of yin training prior to attending.
Course provides 20 hrs Yoga Alliance Continuing Education credits (19 contact hours and 1 non-contact hr)
