Resilience is defined as the ability to recover quickly from challenges or to spring back into shape. To be resilient does not mean we will be unaffected by difficulty or immune to stress, it simply means we have tools that we can draw on that help us to move through life's challenges in a healthy way. In this two-day workshop, we will explore a variety of embodied mindfulness practices that can support us in nourishing inner resilience.
This workshop will be trauma-informed in its approach and open to all levels of experience. We will be exploring simple yogic/somatic practices along with meditation and modifications will be offered to suit all bodies. If you have questions about whether or not this class will be suitable for you please reach out to Natalie directly at natalie@natalierousseau.com
Natalie is a long time student of meditation & yoga and has been teaching since 2001. Her classes are rooted in a reverence for the natural world and a deep appreciation for both the yogic & Buddhist traditions that have inspired her own practices. In addition to her work as a teacher, she is also a Relational Somatic Therapist and currently resides within the unceded traditional territory of the K’ómoks First Nations, commonly known as Cumberland BC.
