There is so much to learn in your body and mind when it comes to riding waves. This workshop’s focus is efficient movements to make your surfing look and feel smooth and controlled.
Join Lydia Ricard for 2 workshops on June 15 & 16 to build your longboarding skills. Take the time to practice the movements out of the water and notice the benefits as you build new habits in surfing. Out of the water, expect to practice the same movement over and over with mindful focus without distractions. In this workshop, learn to paddle efficiently, how to take off on a wave, to stall, cross step, noseride and the basics of turning.
Lydia’s aim is to bring mindfulness and awareness to your movements, to build new habits so next time you go surfing you will feel more confident and conscious.
Lydia Ricard is originally from Montreal, and moved to Tofino 9 years ago to follow her passion for surfing. A couple of years later, she discovered another passion within: coaching.
