Bhavana means ‘cultivating’ or ‘mood’. Expect a class inspired by rhythm and music. Join Clara at Coastal Bliss Yoga. Move to a beat-heavy curated playlist to cultivate an expressive and unique emotive state (Bhav) that will inspire your flow for the practice. This class differs from regular classes/workshops as Clara joins you for practice. Flow together, and co-create the Bhavana through collective movement and breath. Together, we will focus less on the poses and more on the transitions, dancing our way to our souls. The energy of the music will be the fuel for movement.
I have been a student of yoga for almost 23 years and a teacher for 20. My roots are in vinyasa (Jivamukti, Prana Flow and Laughing Lotus). However my curiosity for all things yoga has taken me to study many other lineages - iyengar, kundalini, restorative and Forrest yoga to name a few. I am also a lover of philosophy and have had the privilege to study with tantric scholars - Daniel Odier, Douglas Brooks and Paul Ortega. My classes are vinyasa based with a mixture of other styles to create a holistic practice that leaves you feeling grounded and strong. My intention with each class is to nourish - body, mind and spirit so that we can show up for the people and places in our lives with more patience and compassion.
