A low impact gentle relaxation based class suitable for everyone. Unwind with gentle movements , long holds, and meditation to promote tension relief and mental clarity while receiving hands on massage. Class is practiced on the floor with the support of several props.
These classes are taught by new teachers and are open to everyone but are not recommended for pre- natal students or anyone working with serious injury or chronic pain. Reduced rate, sliding scale $5-10, $5 minimum.
Hatha Yoga uses postures (asana) and conscious breathing (Pranayama) in combination with mental focus to develop awareness, strength and flexibility, and relaxation. Through proper alignment and mindful actions of the body, Hatha Yoga brings balance, strength, and a sense of well-being to the practitioner.
Find 360 degrees of motion. A hip focused flow class designed to build strength as well as flexibility in the hip socket. We will be turning up the heat in the studio and warming up the hips.

Bikram’s beginning series is comprised of twenty-six hatha yoga postures and is practiced in a hot room to warm and stretch muscles, ligaments and tendons.

Power yoga is a fun and vigorous style of yoga that is taught in a continuous flow to increase energy and vitality while building strength and stamina. The emphasis on breath initiated movements helps to cultivate greater focus and attention while the mindful progression of postures allows for deeper opening and increased flexibility. This class is open to mixed levels but may not be suitable for the absolute beginner due to it’s faster pace. Modifications will be offered to suit individual students where possible while allowing everyone to move together as a group.
Restorative yoga is a gentle, therapeutic style of yoga where props are used to support the body in restful poses. This nurturing practice focuses on restoring the central nervous system and promotes conscious relaxation. This class is suitable for students of all levels of experience.

Combining strength and fluidity, these classes move at a steady pace and include intermediate level poses. Modifications will be offered to suit varying levels of practitioners. Focus is on breath synchronized movement to encourage greater body awareness and increased energy. Students should have a working knowledge of the basics and a willingness to work with sustained effort in a mixed level class.
Level 2 Vinyasa Flow:
This class in intended to build an intermediate practice with deeper understanding of yogic philosophy. Be prepared for longer holds and playing with more advanced postures and practices; pranayama, deep backbends, arm balances & inversions.
Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues and joints to increase strength and maximize range of motion. Poses are mostly done seated on the floor accessing the hips, pelvis, spine and shoulder joints as well as the lower body energy meridians.

It is used for deep relaxation, in stress management and therapy, to enhance the learning process in education, to harmonize the deeper unconscious and awaken inner potential, and as a meditation technique.
